Our mission at KABA which stands for Korean and Black Association of Greater Atlanta LLC is to help first generational Korean and black mixed people and their biological parents who raised them to learn and find their identity, language, culture, and families through travel to both Korea and Africa with the focus of helping and supporting all Blasians.
Our vision is to unify and improve social interactions with both Korean and African American communities especially now where race is such an issue for no reason. To also ensure inclusion, assistance, and better understandings that will lead to better experiences with one another we are building bridges not walls. We build people up not tear them down.
Our program will allow them to stay connected with their heritage, culture, and traditions not only for themselves but also for their families or future families.
Many of them have been abandoned due to being mixed with American especially African Americans sad but true not knowing who they really are its no fault of theirs but yet they are the ones who suffer the most and its just not fair. They are usually the last ones to get adopted in Korea as well a sad truth but a truth none the less leading to being outcast, suicides, and many more unfortunate situations.
Knowing where you come from is so important to where you will be going in life. It is a proven fact that people who feel or are connected to something are more motivated to do better every day.
Helping people from every where finding a sense of belonging and pride of who they are regardless what they may be mixed with or how they may look like. We are all one race the human race. This is what KABA is all about.
Please join us in making this world better in every way possible. Be connected stay connected…KABA
